Can anyone tell me if the neck and or frame is the same on the wide glide and the super glide? I want to put a wide glide front end on a super glide, Will the look be the same?

I believe the frame/head tube (whatever it's called)...is different on a wide glide. So it won't look identical. But there is a board member here who put a wide glide front end on a custom/low rider (don't remember)...and it looked really nice.

My father in law was rear ended by his brother on their bikes. He has a dyna convertible and he put a wide glide front end on it. It looks nice but I think he had to buy trees that had some rake to them to get the same degree of rake. Ill ask him when I see him.

 

Yes, you can mount any Harley front end on there you want to. The neck is gonna be the same fit. Should be no problem.

 

I know the 2006 Dyna's neck angle is 29* except the Wide Glide which is 34*, read these post's:

He's right. Although any dyna front end will match any dyna frame, the WG frame has more rake for that chopper look. The WG front end is also longer to match the increased rake. You'll need to lower it 1-2".
