Anyone else hit your primary when cornering??

Thats a good way to lift the tires off the pavement and end up on your @ss. I know because I wrote off a bike and went *** over tea kettle (during my short road racing career). Good thing I was on a closed course and wearing leathers. Pegs, floorboards etc will all fold up to allow a bit more clearance but a primary case will not so please be careful.

Lifting the wheel off the ground SAVED my **** once...prolly should be in the confessions thread....
but I was riding with some sportbike guys and I was backing off knowing that I couldn't take corners as hot as them, but there was a curve I misjudged and didn't realize how "progressive" it was. I went in WAAAY too hot and so I was on my primary and I leaned enough to where I could go into a controlled slide on my primary to point me further in the direction I needed to go a few times. Scared the $h!t out of me and the guy behind me (on a SG) said he thought I was done.
