Question 6-gear indicator failing

Hello guys,
I have a 2006 Street Bob where the 6th-gear indicator isnt working anymore. Its on for a split-second when shifting gears...and not when shifting to the 6th gear. This also occours randomly...
Does anyone have any advise on how to fix this?

Regards,
Kurt

I have an 06 Street Bob and I don't have a 6th gear indicator. I never understood why they put one there in the first place.

We have a 6th gear indicator?

Wow how about that for a daily lesson learned.

Where? On the dash with the other indicator lights would be my 1st suspicion.

Your speed sensor in the trans is covered with crap. Pull it out and clean off the metal, and I bet it works
