Nice bars, I vote to lose the tank lift and not go any higher rise...Perfect the way it is.

Do you mind me asking what the total cost was for the bars? I take it you used all the same cables.

rooti,

I am thinking the same thing with regard to not adding to the height of the risers. I may just keep it the way it is.

Total cost:

...bars I paid: 117.44 with free shipping from riders discount on ebay.

(They have the same bars with either dimples or drilled for internal wiring in both 1 and 1-1/4 inch bars. So be careful if you order and order the ones you want.)

...Risers 21.99 plus 7.00 shipping...28.99 from bkrider on ebay

total cost...146.43

I used all the same cables that I had when I ran both my mini apes and my 10 inch z bars.

Looks great man! I like that the bars aren't that wide. Great price on them too!

Bike looks great! I like look of new bars too.
How does that tool pouch work out for you where you have it?
Then again you probably don't get the road crap where you are that I do here in NE.

Spaceblue,

Appreciate the positive vibes!

The tool pouch works great. I had it on for over 2 years while living in Maryland and it held up just fine there. It's been on the bike for over 3 years, maybe even closer to four. I wash it and apply kiwi mink oil once or maybe 2 times per year. The mink oil seems to keep it hydrated and non brittle. I actually keep tools in it too . Some times when I am detailing the bike I will wipe it down quickly with some water. To be honest it doesn't really get that dirty.

Cheers,

Tom
