Has anyone installed the Combo Analog Speedo/Tach on a 2009 Street Bob with the 4" speedo? All I can find listed in the Harley P&A catalog is for a 5" speedo. They came out with a 4" for 2012, but I don't know if that will work with my bike. According to the parts guy at the local dealer, it won't.
They used to make one for the '07 4" but when I looked last year there was nothing in the parts book. Called 3 parts depts. and it seems HD doesn't make one anymore.
The one for the '12 bikes will not work with the older bikes. It's based on the new can-bus electronic setup on the newer Dynas and Softails. That new tach is cool, even has a gear position indicator. In fact, I believe the stock speedo on the '12 bikes do too.
I read a rumor on this forum that H-D may be coming out with a version of this new speedo/tack for the older (say 2009 or so) Dyna's with the 4" speedo. We will just have to wait and see.

The stock speedos not only do not have the gear position indicator like on the new speedo/tach combo units, the 2012s I test rode didn't even have a 6th gear light anymore!
