What you really mean is, you didn't feel comfortable with your skillz as a biker to ride apes on twisty roads...

Was one of the best improvements I made after playing with risers. Long rides are some much more comfortable. Also they are 16"

Awesome!...I think I am sold on getting some. I am short myself so I think I will go with the 16"....thanks for the information. Now can someone tell me why I can't look at the picuters that people post? Is it because I am still too new to the site?

Default I had 16's

I rode with 16's on my 05 Super Glide. They looked badass but up around 80 the front started getting a little shaky. Could be my head bearings though. They were comfortable as hell. Everyone always said "how can you ride with those things". I loved them, they were awesome. I changed to some short drag bars. The bike seems more stable.
