I assume you are going for the late 60's through 70's FLH look? Front and rear fenders are perfect for that. To me, those were the best looking Harley Davidsons ever..............
I think it looks great, you addressed two things I dislike about the Fat Bob. The twin headlights and the rear fender.
Funny you mention the twin headlight. It's what attracted me to her in the first place, but I outgrew that soon after buying it. To me they're too small at under 5 inches in diameter each. That's what these things are for though, to make them what you want. Surprisingly, the street glide fender and the fat bob fender are virtually the same size, just the fat bob fender is rotated forward to give it the bob tail. The only thing is with the street glide is I need to fabricate an extension to cover the bare spot forward and down from the shocks, that's where the fat bob fender comes into play, already sacrificed, just needs the sacrificial piece welded on and smoothed out, and she'll be good to go... with a paint job of course.
I really like the look! What front light assembly is that?
7 in fat boy headlight w/heritage spotlight bar. I cannot take credit for the fitment of any of these mods as I've been following advice of others here on the forum for getting this stuff on there.
