I just put the flush mount caps on the Dyna..it will look sharp on your bike and you will like it
ORIGINAL: Mascman

The dash is done!

The chromer said that underneath the wrinkle finish, there were a lot of marks from the piece being pressed into shape.

He said that he spent a little more timesmoothing it than he thought he would, but it came out nice.

I just set it on the tank to get you guys a pic because i know how anxious some ofyou get!

I took the tank to the painter where he will scuff and apply my custom decals and give it a couple coats of clear.

Ihave also ordered the flush mount kit which should make this an awesome looking set up when it's done. Maybe not BOTM material, butI think this bike is going to be a very clean and cool looking machine...it already is to me anyway!

Any tricks to installing the flush mounts, or did everything go smoothly?

The piece looks great, but the guy did say that he had to do more smoothing to it than he expected.

That may be a factor in what the final piece will look like...this guy is well established and knows what he is doing.

I say that for $125 it is definitely worth doing...possibly even close to $175 may still be worth it when you consider how much to swap for the Lowrider one.

Ican't wait to get my tank back and put her all together! I thinkI like working on it as much as riding it.
