2012 Street Bob Bars question

Hi all,

I'm thinking of fitting a pair of 14" Wild1 Chubby Outlawz bars to my 2012 Street Bob and wanted to know if it's just a straight swap or will I need to buy longer cables, lines etc?

Gonna have to buy them from the states and get em shipped or ask the misses to bring em back as she travels to the US regularly. Anyone know a shop in Boston that sells em?

Ride safe.....

The lines should be long enough, there is some extra sitting there from the stock set-up, i went to 19in total on my bob and still use the factory brake line, just had to go +6 on the cables

forum member robbie13 has them . hopefully he will chime in. I have the 12's and they were a straight swap over of all cables and wiring. I don't know if 14's would make a difference or not. BTW I LOVE the bars .. best bars I have ever had.

Hi Missedem,

Any chance of posting some pics of your 12s fitted. I may choose to go with them....

Cheers.

Ride safe!

Same one's I have. Everything's good. No changes. The throttle cables are a little snug when turned to left, but everything's fine.

Forgot to add that the forks need to be lowered down about 1/8" in the trees to allow the bars to fit.

I just added the Wild1 Chubby Outlawz 14"ers to my '07 FXDB last week, had to straighten the brake line, slightly bend the elbos on the throttle cables, wires and clutch cable were fine. I have some pics that I can post in the next day or so. I aboslutely love the bars!
