Default BAD&G CustomS solo bag early product review

Hey folks,
just thought I'd post a few pic's and say a few good words for Greg, of BAD&G CustomS, after receiving my new dyna solo bag.
I just put it on the bike. I can"t speak to the long term performance of this bag, but at first glance, I would say this is a good quality, well crafted leather saddlebag. It even looks nicer in person. I've got this feeling that it will get better with age. Like an old sock.
Greg of BAD&G is an awesome guy to work with. His attention to detail AND his customer service, will hopefully bring this indie company, great success.
Some security on the bag would've been a bonus. But in a city that can see some crazy climate changes throughout the day... the addition of this bag fits my needs.
Super easy to install.
Check them out.

I hope this post'll help out some forum members.

Two leather straps go around the rear fender support and buckle on the inside of the bag. A third strap goes around the rear caliper bracket.

The pics look good... It fits real nice on your bike...

How about some information on which bag you got?

Was it the "hard-er" version or the original soft version?
Is it the original width (depth?) or did you have the extra inch added?

I've been thinking about going with a set of these as well... And a tool/fork bag as well...

I went back and forth with Greg a couple of times.... so I don't remember exactly what I ordered. I think I ended up ordering the DL05BL Hard Solo Bag in Black Steer with a modification on the front flap. The bag has the extra inch, quick release buckles and 1"straps.

Mine took almost 4 weeks, I emailed to check and he had mine on his list to make next. He makes them to order.
My color isnt holding up as well as I thought it would, my cheapo walmart tool bag color is holding strong compared to it.
Its almost a shade of brown now.
