Plastidip and pinstripes on my FXD
I decided I would take a shot at a Plastidip project, but I didn't want to just "dip" my bike. Truth be told, I figured it was a good way to cover the tank decals which I've never been too crazy about and I've been trying to find some way to tie in my black fairing into the rest of my bike, so I figured going two-tone with the whole bike would be a good way. I also picked up a couple rolls of pinstriping tape at the auto parts store for a little gloss/matte black contrast. I think I probably could have done better if I had taken a little more time and I didn't want to keep masking for enough coats to cover the outline of the decal (as is, I have about four), but I'm overall very satisfied with how it came out. I'm also thinking I might take it further and dip the fork lowers a little later down the road. Here's some pics of the process and before/after.

@green, that's actually exactly what it started as and I still haven't made up my mind so I haven't cut it yet. For the time being, it looks kind of a 70's vibe.
@kenny, yeah, that bugs me, but I might take care of it by taking an razor to it and peeling off what's covering it or just masking it off after it cures and shooting a couple more coats to smooth it out. I thought I might get a different decal to put over it, but I don't know if they'll stick to the plastidip.
Otherwise, thanks guys.
