I believe your 13 SB uses 1156 bulbs for rear turns and has a run/brake module to send half voltage to the single bulb as running light. Just like any Harley without the center brake light. Take the light bulb out, is it single or double?

Or keep the red lenses and tint them with something like VHT nightshades.

Get some LEDs man, they are much better than a red or amber light bulb. Don't forget the load balancer too.

These are the LED clusters I use.

They are made by Radiantz and can be purchased at several locations online. The LED's are red, so they work great with smoked lenses. They make an amber version too.

Both front and rear (all four) bulbs on a 13 SB are dual element bulbs.

Are these bad boys plug and play for the front and rear on the '13 Bob or do you need resistors? How easy are they to install?

You dont need resistors. I have them on the rear lights on mine and they work fine. I guess if you do LED's all the way around the lights will flash quicker but, its up to you if you 'need' one.
And dont use VHT nightshade. That stuff is crap. Seen it on bikes, tried it before, its cloudy, doesn't let enough light through and looks sub par. Smoked lenses and LED bulbs are the way to go IMO.

100% correct. Plug and play on the rear. If all four are LED, a resistor is required to prevent the dashboard indicators from flashing rapidly. The signals themselves flash normally.

If the LED are used only at the rear, there is no change and everything works great.

I never tried VHT. Some people like it. The smoked lenses work well for me. The red LED cluster from Radiantz shine right through with little or no loss of brightness.
