well its easy to check just look at the intake and see if it has injectors, does it have a throttle body look behind ac you should see the throttle position sensor. just looked up 04 dyna low rider it states its carbed on hd site. if I am wrong

i have the 2004 fxdli and its fuel injected, even says so on the air cover...the fxdl is carb. I ve also been having issues with my bike running weird (fuel starved, etc) i was told (just got it from a priavte party) that it was stage 1, but im gonna have it scanned at the dealer to see whats up.

 

my '04 Lowrider is an FXDLi - the "i" meaning fuel injected. I also has a Power Commander III connected to the ECU. The PC-III does a good job for Stage I mods.

 

2004 had fuel injection. The low was designated as FXDL/I
(also FXD/I, FXDX/I & FXDWG/I). The believe the "I" designation was dropped in 2007

 

I have a 04 FXD carbed, and from my research, looks like we had a choice in 2004. You could get a FXD or a FXDI.
