judging how far they hang down below the swing arm it looks like they would drag way too easy. If you replace the oem headpipes you will eliminate the cat. (and a lot of head gathering mass) They seem kind of pricy for slip-ons
anyone have these and what do you think of them? your input is very appreciated!
They are ok, I think the Rush slip ons are a better value with the 1.75" or 2.0" baffle. The V&H are quite loud. J&P is usually a little pricey on their stuff, may want to do some shopping.
ive really liked the V&H ones, and i wont mind the sound. i want it to sound like a harley.. haha and i was bored and cruising J&P, i believe i have seen them cheaper as well

Check the classifieds here and ebay and craigslist as well. I have a set of V&Hs straightshot slip ons that retail for $300 and I got them used on the classifieds here in really good condition here for $100 shipped.
I have the versions of the twin slash for the streetbob/classic and they sound great.I imagine the twin slash for the wide glide and fat bob sound the same.

my thoughts....
Not sure if dyna's are different but on my fatboy the cats were actually in the slip ons not the heads.
