I currently have syn3 in mine and over a month it didnt use any oil. I let it sit for a week and the next few times I rode it the oil got a little lower each time. It got down to the bottom of the 3rd square from the full mark before I got nervous and added some oil. I have rode it 150 miles since then and it hasn't went down at all. I don't know what to think about that. A tech at my local stealership said its normal for a Harley to use 1 quart every 2,000 miles or so. I think thats bs.
