Hi! i am considering to get me a rifle roadster fairing on my street bob 2012 - as i am living in europe i have to order from the states and so i have to go sure before ordering. i have a few questions:

does it fit to my 2012 SB and does it come with all necessary hardware? or do i have to order something additionally (clamps?), is it easy to install?

I just ordered one painted black directly from rifle with the 15" smoked windshield. It took close to 6 weeks, but it did come with all the hardware. Now it's mounted to my FXDX and I'm loving it.

 

How's the paint quality? I'm considering getting one pre-painted denim black but I'm not sure if it's a color they do. Gloss black is probably much easier to spray.

Any photos you could share?

 

The paint was perfect on mine. I think it may cost some extra money, but I think they'll paint it what ever color you want for some extra dough. Sharing photos of the paint would be pointless since my phone camera lens is scratched to hell but here is what it looked like after I got it mounted.

 

I hope to have mine any day now. It has taken the full 6 weeks but I am sure I will be happy when it arrives. I will get pictures up when I get it on.

 

Looks good. Thinking bout selling my 1/4 fairing to get the rifle fairing.

my rifle took 2 weeks from ordering to delivery, guess i got lucky, but i ordered it primed only

 

I know a couple people that have done the same...

 

It's good, solid, glossy paint and strong. Sold my Ness fairing to get it and never looked back.
