My advice is take it to your HD dealer. Have the insurance adjuster go there
and get a repair estimate from HD(it will be $$$). The insurance company will than issue the check to you. How you get your bike fixed is also up to you.

I didn't read all replies. Don't know if somebody already mentioned this course of action.

That sucks. Hopefully you get it taken care of through her insurance. That's why every bike I own gets an engine guard.

Glad you're ok man. I'd flip **** on that woman that cut you off. I get so f'ing tired of dumbass drivers that are oblivious to other drivers, and especially motorcyclists. Sorry about your brand new bike getting damaged. Like has been said already, have it safety inspected and get an estimate from a dealer.

Leech? No Way, you didn't ask for anything. All some of us want to do is help you out with some parts that are sitting on the shelf.........

To avoid this in the future I will take all back raids home from the dealer during rush hour, I was in the middle lane, I was aware front, back and sides. The lady gunned it, cut right in front of me and then slammed on the brakes. In this exact same situation I'm not sure any of us could have done more.
