Nice to start the New Year with a ride, especially as the temperatures are set to plummet again over the next few days.

Nice looking LowRider. Glad you got a ride in. I use to live south of you in Bedford. But at that time was riding a Norton Commando.

Thank you. And the Norton was a true classic; it must have been fun throwing that around the English lanes!

I do miss riding around the UK, especially trips to Wales and to the Lake District.,

WHATS UP ALL, its been a while.....still cruising the LR though....My brother in law finally got a bike, so thats cool, and my buddy got bike, so thats even cooler...now I have people to ride with.

I agree it is a nice bike but the LR and LR S are the cream of the HD crop in my book.

I happened across this video of a 1979 Low Rider and was struck by two things. First, the paint scheme on the tank (same as on my 2015 LR). Second, the fact that the 1979 LR came with a factory oil cooler.

Yeah. lots of similarities, including dual front disc brakes...but glad I have a 2015...1690 vs. 1200...
