green 6gear indicator dash light out

Coming home from work today, shift into 6th gear (2009fxdc) and no green "6" dash light on. Just wondering if anyone knows the fix off the top of their head before i dig out the service manual and search etc............Thanks in advance for the help

adjusted clutch 1000 miles ago-its fine

Riding to work today, it worked as normal WTF? Fixed itself but I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks to all who helped.

Mine hasn't worked since I bought my bike. I just thought maybe the FXDF's didnt get it even though my dealer told me about the indicator...Hasn't worked since day 1. Wonder if they'd fix it under warranty with something or another. Different ecu flash or a bulb, or whatever else...
