1. I don't want to spend a lot of money and end up with a total disaster. that's never good.
2. I don't have many tools, I do have the fortune of having access to a drill press & a belt sander, tap & drill set & some measuring tools , but that's about it.


this is the taillight I would really love to have but it seems that it's going to be too wide to fit in my 03 wide glide fender. Description says 9" wide, hard to believe a fender would be that wide because mine is 7-3/16".. Does anyone know the width of a 2006-2010 soft tail Fender?

I might end going the safe route & just buying a chrome bracket I know will fit and then just choosing a universal tail light to mount
