it sits you in the same as stock position but with way more back support, it doesn't lower you or drop you back like a mustang would. i have one now on my fatboy. i won't ride without one! I originally had a mustang on my super glide, but it cupped around the edges and hurt my hips. this does not which also prevents your legs from having to wide of a stance.
also, see the lip on the back seat, whoever is riding on the back will enjoy that extra support. the rear seat is a more comfortable and wider seat than the mustang. my wife sat on the seat at a show and said " you need to buy this". You can check them out here, and see the pricing for what it would cost from their site for all 3 pieces.
