I think the stock mags was one of the main attractions for me when I chose the fatbob. I went looking for a fatboy with the same attraction. (aluminum mags)

I have a 2009 LowRider.

Would the front wheel work for me IF I purchase...

A stock wideglide tree
Axle
whatever spacers I would need

Is it ok to only use the left rotor and leave the right one off?
I would also (I believe) have to use the Fatbob front fender.

Another question...
Is there a reason why the rear wheel won't work?

sorry but I can't verify any of that. The ebay listing I have starting tonight says I cannot verify fitment on anything other than a fat bob.
