$47 battery from ebay shipped

Made in China. No Cold Crank Amps Rating. Posts are side not flat, not a big deal, but don't tighten them down too hard you may snap it off. It's not the battery I would buy, but it is your money.
Check the voltage before putting it in the bike. You may need to top it off. If you do make sure that the charger you use will not charge above 14 volts.
How much did you spend on your bike? Why cheap out on a battery?

Low budget no name battery without a date code.
No idea how old it could be.
The type of battery that someone might buy when trading a bike into dealer.
Post are different and might present a mounting challenge.
Not something i would choose if i was planning a long ride or if i was keeping the bike.
I would worry every time it had a slow crank far from home.

You don't want a battery that is probably enough, you want one that is more than enough. How many CCA's is it?
You should get something like this: http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/.../yuasa-gyz.htm
