I am looking for anybody in the Chicagoland area who is currently using the TPX radar detector. I can’t seem to find it anywhere in stock to look at it before buying.
If you’re not in that area and you do use it please let me know how it works. I was looking at the TPX 2.0 radar and laser detector with the LED display. It is for a 17 street glide special.
also willing to take any suggestions on better product. Most important to me is having it as discreet as possible.
I just bought the TPX radar detector last month, had the bike in the shop for some work and had them run the wiring harness for it and the Led indicator wiring together and mounted. Have nt used it yet but its the only descrete water resistant radar detector for motorcycles. get the pro version.
Sorry but not at this time, it;s still at the dealership. I had hard bags installed along with driving lites and some custom adds, Its a 2017 Fatboy S. I have it mounted on the right handle bar rise a few inches down from the throttle on the angle portion with the handle bar clamp they offer at Tpx from the OEM manufacturer in california.
