How can I remove Switch pod wiring through top tree
Changing my wide glide trees to narrows and first problem I ran into was the wiring for my hand controls runs through the upper triple tree. I’ve removed the switches from the pods, took the caps off and no luck trying to get my big switch through the tight gap. I would like to skip over the part where I spend the evening sauntering so I figured I would ask if anybody had any suggestions before I pull out my dykes.

Unplug the connectors, de pin the switch side connector and pull the wires through. Yes you may need to remove the tank.
Put the cutters away, that is what turns a bike into a nightmare for the next owner or person who inherits it.
What model and year bike?

I would add to take plenty of photos that show both sides of the plugs and wiring before you start, make a good drawing of the plug and the contact numbers and wire colors, check everything out real thoroughly before powering up, and most importantly, TAKE YOUR TIME!
Good luck!
