Default t/l & license light not working, but brake/turn signals work fine

2014 Street Glide Special. As the title states, the tail lights aren't on, but the brake lights and turn signals work fine. The license plate light is also not working. So basically all the rear lights that should come on when ignition is in the run position aren't working, and the switched lights are. All fronts seem to be working fine. Anyone else have this problem? All lights and wiring is stock. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Look under the fender and see if there is any damage , from possibly bottoming out .

Also , check the connector under the seat , could be corroded / loose .

If all seems fine , pull the rear light cover off and check the connectors / panel inside the brake light , at the same time , check the wiring the goes through the fender into that light .

Hope it's an easy fix !

the tri-bar light is also not on. If it is bad, would that cause all the rear running lights to stop working? same thing with the license light, if its bad, would it take out that whole circuit(tail lights/tribar)? How would I test the tribar to know if it's bad?

Hot at the fuse? Get your test light out and start tracking it down.

It's all working now! took it all apart, and started testing things, and everything looked good. Put back together so I could ride during the day tomorrow, and after getting it reassembled, I checked for codes. I had 3 (B2151,B2156 & U0184), and after that all lights working as they should. I think it was just a code has gotten thrown a while back when I had unplugged a couple connectors under the seat and tried to start the bike. Just never noticed until that nice police officer told me last night I didn't have t/l's. I will ALWAYS check for codes first in the future. Thanks to those who replied.
