I have a Harley mechanical problem with a battery change, I changed my battery and now the check engine light and battery light comes on at times, nothin else has changed on the bike, still runs incredible, I read it was because I didn't pull the main fuse before I disconnected the battery, any ideas???
..I heard I can just disconnect everything again...let it sit for a little time....so the computer resets, or I have to drive over 55miles/hr to let the computer reset
The bike only has 3k miles, I changed the battery & things went wrong.
Anyone know???

 

I suspect you have a charging problem. Why did you change the battery?
