So from a few other threads to include tearing down my own engine this whole lefty bearing confused me. That is until i opened the package to my replacement Lefty bearings and noticed they were black. Seems that my bike never was equipped with the lefty bearing in the first place, and of course it was not equipped with the retention anti-walk screws on the opposite bearing either. Think the retention screws started later on by a year or two?
