Ok we have tested compression and it’s good. We are not getting a spark, plus are tested and good. Is there a relay or a fuse?

Yes has fuel :)

Plugs must be in to test for spark. System needs to see compression to throw spark. Install the plugs and install an inline spark tester.

Plus - how did you test for fuel? Early 08s had a problem with the fuel filter assy breaking in the tank and losing pressure. Did you perform a fuel pressure test or are you assuming fuel is good because you hear the pump?

Looks like we have narrowed it to the crank position sensor.

Ok we replaced the crankshaft position sensor and we are now getting a spark. But the spark plugs are bone dry so we are not getting fuel. We shot a little gas in each cylinder and she fires right up until that gas is burned off. There must be a fuel pump fuse or relay or something telling it not to send fuel. When we turn on the ignition I can hear the pump running so like Ed said earlier I am assuming the pump should be working because I hear it. How can I check the actual fuel pressure or what other circumstances might be causing it not to send fuel. Battery is strong and it cranks strong.

If the pump runs at key up and turns off after a few seconds if you do not crank it, that is normal. It comes on at key on to pressurize, then stops until the system sees a signal from the crank sensor. If it is doing that, your fuse is good. To properly check fuel pressure you need a gauge.

Check the fuel quick disconnect at the fuel tank, that thing is a piece of crap, I had my engine die due to it moving, usually happened when passing cars on low gears and high revs.

That thing somehow moves and restricts the flow of fuel due to the engine vibrations, I had to disconnect and reconnect it to get the bike to fire again.

Give it a test, you won't lose anything :)

If it has stock calibration. It has stock 5800 rev limiter. I doubt you over reved it, or hurt it at that rpm.

I will check the fuel quick disconnect next.
