Will this damage my bike?

Just installed a new Dragula 2:1 on my '14 SGS. My chosen tuner is about a 3 hour drive away. He said I should be fine riding the bike to him as long as I don't install the high flow A/C yet, and just bring it with me to be installed at his shop when I arrive. I've read some threads about running bikes too lean and doing damage to the engine. I would assume that, with the stock A/C still installed and the only change being how exhaust leaves the engine, the engine itself should remain relatively unchanged. Should I be ok?

will be fine.

for any damage to occur, the bike would run like sh!t.if its running OK,it`ll be fine.if its popping & cracking, theres a good chance of doing damage.check the plugs, they`ll tell the story of how its running (I assume your going to DOC`s)

I've run the bike for a total of about ten minutes and it sounds great. Only one decel pop after revving and it was minor. Yes, it is Doc, but I didn't want to air him out in case someone comes on here trying to bash without knowing what they're talking about. He tuned my 2010 SG and it ran like a dream. Spoke to its new owner the other day and after three years of owning it he still raves about the performance. Very glad to be close enough to have him tune it.

That Rush Wrath is not going to harm you prior to getting it tuned.

Thank you. It's great to have another well respected expert chime in. Really makes me feel better about it.

When you see that tuner over in Mineola, tell him we said "Hi."
