Went last weekend to the aforementioned show. Based around custom builds there were many on display (without barriers) and the setting for the show which was built in 1811 unusual.

Depends really where you are based. Many towns especially down south have bike meets throughout the week. For example Poole Quay in Dorset on a Tuesday from May until September will have a turn out of 800 bikes plus. Have a look at What's On in the areas you are heading to.

Don’t expect we will be needing visa should UK ever leave the EU . There are more European countries outside EU for which passport is enough. Then again looking at the Brexit exercise so far .... have to agree “who knows what’s gonna happen?”
