Anyone headed to Garmisch this weekend for Ride the Alps at Edelweiss? I am headed out tomorrow with a buddy (he rides a BMW, don't hate too much), taking the meanderly way to the Romantic road and staying the night in Rothenburg. Then finishing up the Romantic road on the way to Garmisch on Friday. Doing the ride Saturday. On Sunday, we are heading to Newschawnstein, then coming back up through the Black forest, stopping at the abbey in Oppeneau. Then finishing up the ride home on Monday. Looks to be about 1800km round trip. It took me 5 weeks to get the first 1000 miles, and it looks like about 5 days for the next 1000. Hope to see some of you out there.
