Do all evo bikes ( 1988 flh ) have oil filters ?

Default Do all evo bikes ( 1988 flh ) have oil filters ?

I picked up my first Harley 1988 fflhs and there is no oil filter do the all have them ? Or do I have to buy a kit to put one on ?

Thought they all had them.

I don't own a 88 thou.

Check YouTube videos too.

I edited my original post. Let me check before I send you down the wrong path. I posted just from memory. I believe one of the evo filters is inside the tank.

Take a look at this. Unfortunately the person I got it from thought he was cute in an "Oil Change for Dummies" way so forgive the wording below the diagram

Follow the return lines off your pump and you'll find the filter.

its under the bike between the swingarm pivot and transmission
