I posted in the general section yesterday about this. guess I should have known better. have any of you ever heard of sundance. they were located In cocoa Florida and they made harley frames. the one i have is a kenny boyce style "fxr" frame. the one that's not really an fxr. it looks almost identical to the kenny boyce, but it isnt. I bought it as a basket case to use the parts for my 89 fxr and sell what I don't need. I'm trying to figure out what would be a good price to ask for the frame. it has an mso and I have 3 people interested in it. I'm not looking to get top dollar for it, but I want to know what a solid price would be where both the buyer and myself get a good deal.

Send an email to yourself and bcc the three interested and ask for their top, best bid. Shouldn't hurt too much, no? I'd guess $750 for a used frame but with paper.

You don't have to send it to yourself just bcc everyone you want to send it to and you are fine.

 

$750 seems reasonable to me too.

I have no idea if those things are well sought after or not. Who knows. Maybe there are collectors looking to snap them up. (Doubt it, but who never can tell).

Anyway, from what I see, clean MoCo frames with clean paper are worth $2k+ ish. Current aftermarket FXR frames run around $1250 new.

Seems like you should be able to get at least half of that for yours.

 

I was planning on asking 700 for it so it sounds like I'm in a good range I'm going to try posting pictures of here. I'm looking at a kenny boyce pro,street on ebay and everything looks identical to the frame im getting.

Frame with Mso id say 500-750. Titled frame 1200-1500. The paper makes the difference. I would lean toward 750 if it had all the mounts and swingarm

 

I don't see enough similarities to call that a Kenny Boyce lookalike. I'd start at $700., but I agree with Jason's range of $500-&700.
