Primary oil going into engine
Hi there, I own a 1986 softail custom. My engine have been rebuild this winter (wiseco piston +0.030 10:1 compression), Ev27 Andrew cam, tappets, Revtech oil pump. we have changed all the bearings and seals too. the Engine start very well but the only problem is all the primary oil goes into the engine and it fill the oil tank full. My crank seal is brandnew and installed in the right way. Does someone have idea why it's append and how to correct this?
Sorry for mistakes, I'm not native english.
Thanks in advance
Gilles

It's what we tough, yesterday I have changed the oil seal for a new one and same thing happen...engine sucks primary oil. If the stator's cable retainer (29954-71) and his screws are missing, could it be my problem? thank you

Gee Skip, how do you know about oil getting through the cases? Hmmm. :P

Yes, those holes are drilled & tapped completely through the case. They must be sealed to prevent in-leakage and/or out-leakage.

Like you have read it just has to be the crank seal, there is no other way that oil can get into the engine.
