$4k for a low mile 94 RK is a steal. I'd be there cash in hand 'just because'.
Nothing unusual to look for. Black and Chrome motor/trans. The MoCo updated the handlebar controls in 96 IIRC, and it's still got the 'anti-dive' front suspension that is filled by a Shrader valve on the left handlebar grip. It's an E-glide, so the frame is the same as all the other 'glides. Most of the stuff for the other 'glides of the same era, will fit on it: Bags, bars, seats, etc.
If your nephew doesn't want it, I'd be really tempted, as it's the bike I would have loved to buy in 1993 when I got my FLHS.

Pull the seat off of it and look for signs of hacked up wiring. Hacked up wiring on anything is a pet peeve of mine because it turns into a long drawn out battle sorting through someone else's mess.
Other than that, I agree as usual with Omaha.
It's an Evo. It will tell you if anything mechanical is wrong by sound and feel.
It seems like Harley was doing a lot of things right in the 90's, so provided it wasn't owned by an idiot, it should be a pretty solid purchase.

You should have more insight that most...other than cosmetics...an 94 RK and a 94 EG is the same bike.
