Default 99 Evo dyna s ingniton with accel super coil no spark.

So i have tried to rewire my custom harley. It has a 99 evo . I have the coil wired up and the two ignition wires running to it,but im still not getting any spark. Just need a simple wiring diagram or solutions to the problem. It doesnt have an ignition module. I have just a dyna s ignition. A blue and white wire running to coil and hot wire from ignition switch.

White wire is the 12 v supply there should be no other wire connected to that terminal...On the Dyna S, It is capable of single or dual fire. The blue and pink wire when used together are for single fire operation. You have a dual fire coil. Remove the blue wire from the coil and tape it up and tuck it away. Put the pink wire in it's place.. Make sure you have the dip switches configured properly on your ignition module. You can get the proper instructions on @ Dynatek online. Google it...

I hope you didn't fry anything by having the pink and white wire connected together. The pink wire is the signal wire from the ignition module....

Dyna S isn't an electronic, no dip switches..its either single or dual fire according to one or two pickup modules on the plate...

Good catch Pan.... Sorry.. I confused it with a. 2000 because of the blue and pink wires. The Dyna S does not have those colors in it's wiring. That why I said what I did. Maybe the OP doesn't know what ignition he has...

dyna S will burn out if the coil is less then 4 ohms - check it

the directions say 5 ohms for street

3 ohms for drag racing
