No one is born knowing about mechanical things. Someone somewhere took the time to teach someone else how things work.
Now granted there are some people who have absolutely no business with a wrench in their hands but most of the time it just takes time and patients to teach someone how to do something.
Ignorance is curable with education.

That said being an arrogant *** never helps anyone.
Sorry, NO ONE Ever taught me how to fix a simple little HD.
I repeat NO ONE! ( But I did get help with learning to read early on..)

I bought the FSM with my first bike and have always just followed it.
I buy one for each and every bike.
If that is arrogant then so be it.
I am not sure how I pissed on anyone's parade here, -I just call out the facts.
If facts hurt you lil feelings I can't help ya as I have none, As I have no emotions at all.

Dont forget the crane for the seat, .as reading the FKING instructions is beyond the scope of some people
Do try a dab of humor on your proudly worn humorless injury will you not? LOL

Like I said-
If a fking seat removal stimied someone ....they prolly ought to proceed back to the cigar box with their pliers and crescent wrench and call it quits
After they get the seat off, what next?
Stop now!
LOL

you’ve spent more time on your senseless rant than it did for someone to simply point out the bolts were in the grab-rail.....

I’m 48... this is my first motorcycle that my dad who can no longer ride gave to me about a month and a half ago.... so give me a month or so longer and I’ll catch up to your level of cycle knowledge and omniscient wisdom

Take your crane and shove up your..... well I think you can figure out the rest.... you seem smart but it’s sorta like copulation

to those who offered civil advice.... again thanks....

I've found that everything I've done to my bike was intimidating the first time I did it and when I was done I couldn't believe how easy it was.
