I just use the jack to get it up on a dolly, which is easier for access and mobility.

Mmmmm - frogeye - Mk 1 Sprite, by any chance?!

Lovely bike, there are likely to be plenty of envious members in here! As well as tyres it is well worth changing all the fluids, especially brakes, jst to give your bike a fresh start.

You are correct! 20yrs ago we had a 59' Sprite, and a fun one, hot 1275, mini lites etc. Yes, I want to change all the fluids, look over the whole bike for loose fasteners adjustments and anything looking in poor condition. Retired engineer in me enjoys this part.

For the benefit of other members, an Austin Healey Mk 1 Sprite - nick-named 'frogeye' for obvious reasons.

A college friend had one for many years, back in the '60s, then he discovered Lotus Elans and has been fixated on them ever since!

Ac-crossed the "pond" we knew them as bug-eye sprites, my dad was a sports car nut, but we never owned a Healey I remember a Lancia Flaminia, TR-250, TR-3, MG-A, TR-4A, and Porsche 356-C, before he gave up the addiction....LOL. I've always wanted a 3000.
