Default New bike for a old man

Hi there,
Recently retired and now have time to enjoy a bike, had a Sportster may be 10 yrs ago and enjoyed it. I found a 99' FXR 3 nearby. Just rode it home carefully, tires were low! Ran really nice, only 4k miles, owner claimed it is actual, who knows.
Looking forward to getting better acquainted with it.

Welcome to EVOland. Once you have put some miles on that honey and gotten familiar with it's strong or weak points, we will be glad to help you with whatever you need.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Original tires guys, hard as a rock! Could have got a newer bike for the price but was drawn to simpler tech.

Nice bike. I've always liked those FXR3's.

That is a nice bike. It doesn't even look like it has 4000 miles on it.

It was very windy on the way home, the bike was very stable.
