How long did it take to sell your bike?
Hi all.
I am prepping to list my 98 Superglide for sale. My riding style these days makes switching to a Road King more practical.
I haven't bought or sold a bike in over a decade and am wondering how the Evo market is for a seller these days. If I list it for a fair price will I sit on it for months? What are you guys that have bought or sold a bike lately seeing?
Thanks much!

Too many factors for me to give you a guess, but I would look at Craigslist and other websites to see what other people are asking for similar bikes. It would give you a general idea. I will tell you here in Mid Missouri it is a buyer's market right now and older Harleys are going pretty cheap. Alot of EVO's are going from $4k to $6k depending on the bike. Sometime in the future I want to buy an old EVO as a secondary bike, just not right now.

Thanks guys. Thanks for all the links 01Dyna. I figured list it at $4600 while looking to get $4K. I think that's reasonable considering what I've seen for sale out there. I'm looking for thoughts on what the market is like right now, especially for Evos. Are they desirable or is everyone going after the TC bikes? I look at an Evo bike as something special now. Like the way I looked at the Shovels in the late 90's. Not sure how many riders out there think or know much about Evos anymore being that TC bikes have been the norm for 20 years.
@ 01Dyna Yeah, I like that Fatboy. I really like this Heritage, though. https://kansascity.craigslist.org/mc...879533417.html That's gorgeous.
I am hoping to snag an early TC88 white carbed police Road King, but I could live with other colors. I can even live with the RK not being a police version, but I want hard bags and a carb. I am seeing bikes that fit the bill with low miles in the $6K range.
I've been mulling this over for a few years. I almost feel guilty planning on selling this bike. As if I was planning on breaking up with a loyal, loving girlfriend so I can go out slutting around looking for something better.
