Default '91 FXR rear master cylinder?

as i have said in my previous thread i'm trying to do away with my forwards.
i'm new to evo's so you'll have to be gentle with me
question - where the f*c* does the remote master cylinder mount?
i have looked and looked and walked away come back and looked again and i just cannot see
all i've got is the peddle at the front and the resevoir at the back and don't want to buy anything until i know whats what.
if anyone's got a diagram or piccy to help this dumb *** out i'd be mighty gratefull
no doubt after i've seen it i'll go and lie in a darkened room for a while but till then HELP!!!
cheers you guys i'm relying on ya

Not sure on an FXR, but my Dyna and most others that I have seen w/forwards, has the master tucked away under the transmission/clutch control, behind the pipe. You should be able to just follow the rod.

cheers guys but you're not reading what i'm writing
my rear brake is a pm forward control. it's master cylinder is mounted on the forward control mounting bracket in front of the front exhaust.
WHAT i want to do is junk the forward controls and go back to stock.
the stock setup has the brake lever mounted and pivoting from the footpeg bracket
the brake rod goes back from there to the master cylinder (all of this original equipment is missing)
so what i need to do is get an original master cylinder and rod etc etc
and mount it all up as it originally was.
all i want to know is where that original master cylinder is mounted and what else is missing?

Sounds like you're all over it dude, you've got a pretty good idea what your missing.. I understand what your asking now, but unless someone else can chime in and help, I would recomend looking at other bikes. Maybe a bike night in town or something??? You can much easier "see" what your missing than I can tell you, without seeing it. Good luck, sorry I couldnt help.

Hopefully there is an attachment with this post showing the rear brake master cylinder. It attaches to the frame below the transmission. The bracket (7) in the diagram is welded to the frame. The rear brake fluid reservoir is below the right side side cover.

THAT!!! is it. that IS it.so obvious when you see it. staring me in the face and close enough to smack me.
i was looking to bolt it on from the side - no wonder i couldnt figure it out. i'd looked at that on the frame and wondered what the f*ck is that there for - dumbass or what
thanks for all your inputs we got there in the end.
just a note to HGM - liked your suggestion to look at other bikes.thats what i would have done but this is england and i am in a bit of england that is devoid of any civilization let alone an abundance of harleys but cheers my friend - if we ever meet i'll buy you a beer or three and that goes for the rest of you guys too
