The spark plug wires go to all 4 plugs and are routed between the cylinders to the coil. It sounds to me like someone was experimenting with possible high compression motor and wanted to see if more spark would help. The bike seams to have a lot of power, but then again this is my first Harley. I took a compression check and it was 120# both cylinders. Not bad for 69,000 miles I guess.
I have revtech heads on a 1993 evo and I'm lost on how the spark plug wires are routed because I rebuit the top end and forgot how the wires went

Anyone have a idea Ty
I don't think anybody that has posted in this 11 year old thread is still here.

You probable have a shovel motor and the four plug heads are very common so have someone who no s Harley take a look and your problem will be a lot easier to answer 84 is the split year
This necro-thread is about an EVO, and you post a pick of Shovel heads? Driven 300 miles, automatic transmission?
We have gone from the rare to the ridiculous.
I got a book and it said compression is supposed to be 90#. There is a lot of difference between 90# & 145# so I called Harley. They said 90# too and the bike must have high compression pistons. Go figure!! Can't find the original owner to ask him.
90# is minimum. My ‘96 FXD runs +150 with 66K miles.
Your dealership just doesn’t know.
