I have a 1994 also-I am very sure it can be made to work.
I don't like the reservoir up on the frame .

Yeah brother I should've done the upgrade long ago but I could never get a clear yes or no from any shop or just in conversations at bike event meets . I've always Frikin hated the remote Darth Vader looking reservoir . It was big , ugly and a pain in the BASS to access when maintenance time rolled around . Anyway , Hope it works out with your 94' should you decide to turn wrenches . I think Someone was wanting pics from under frame and rear pedestal so here are a couple but I'm no photographer as the pivs will surely show . :-)

Thanks for the pictures.

It looks like the 94-96 guys might be able to fab up a plate with a tab to catch the bolt holes for the engine guard and floor board mount to hang one up there without needing to weld onto the frame.

On the later model ones, does a bolt pass through the frame to hold the brake pedal on, or is that a welded on shaft with a threaded end?

So was yours a direct bolt on or did you have to fab a plate to make it work?

Thanks ! The new reservoir is a 2001 and I used my original brake lines . I just changed the crush washers ( rubber center washers ) and banjo bolt because the one that came in the new M/C was too short . I also went ahead and added SPEED BLEEDERS . Thanks !
