I am running the Champion RA8HC spark plugs on my '97 WG with SE heads. I change them out ~ 2,500 miles or half-way through an oil change and then at my 5,000 mile oil change. I have not noticed ill effects of the Champion spark plug. Been to Daytona, Sturgis and Milwaukee twice.

Just run the plain old HD stock plug none better and price is right if you have a good dealer. HD 5R6A gapped at .038 to .043
The fancy high tech plugs they offer will not make it run any better they may last long but stock plugs in a good engine are 15K plus anyway

Harley's own 5R6A plugs are made for Harley by Champion. Same thing as a RN12YC with a Harley part number printed on them.

The only really crap plugs come in Chinese Bikes.......they totally suck and H-D are Champion anyway...H-D don't make special things, they outsource.....

I like to wear Wesco boots when installing NGK DCPR7EIX with Snapon tools in my Screamin Eagle heads.

No mate, those are the wrong boots, you must always wear Army Surplus Paratrooper Boots when installing NGK Iridium plugs in SE Heads or they will undo themsleves the first time you acclerate hard......do I have to do ALL your thinking for you???

Thank you Mr. Spanners, I have changed my boots and noticed a huge difference already.

And by the way, I do sincerely appreciate your contributions to this forum.
