All 99 bikes exceptuing Softails and Sportsters are Twincams. 2000-later softails are Twincams too. The last year of 1340 was 1999 in Softails and 1998 in dynas and baggers.

Regards,

Actually, the 2000 FXR4 was the last production EVO.

And a sweet bike that it was......in my opinion. Harley at its best......What a shame they chose not to manufacture the FXR anymore.

I didn't knew nothing about this model as this was a very short production and they never arrived to Europe, where I live, but it's a very interesting thing to know it.

I will never end learning things here. Thanks guys.

Default 2000 evo

I've had more than a few people tell me that my bike can't be a 2000 model because it has an EVO motor in it. Oh well, guess I got cheated and got a 99 model that HD sold as a 2000 model. Don

Check the 10th digit of your VIN; a 1999 will be a "X" and a 2000 will have a "Y".
