Default I got my winter project. Now I need winter

My frame got here. Kraftech and no it's not going to be purple. I've never had a softail before so I am going to build one. Mostly black and chrome with maroon and black tanks and probably a ness fairing. The only parts I need yet are hardware for some small things, neck cups, and a flatside tank mounting kit

Got a small amount of work done today. Got my swingarm all set up and ready to mount. This weekend I need to weld on the oil filter mount and check fender fitment. Anybody know what size bolts are used for the fender to struts?

Riding season is the 3 months just prior to the 3 months of hell, at least here in PA. I hope to extend my riding season with the addition of the ultra classic, might be able to ride in colder weather with the fairings. Winter sucks!

it's a different kind of heat,........mixed with tropical storms. After biketoberfest it starts to cool off. That's when I like to do my changes early november

mine are 5/16-18 iirc. i use the stainless steel allen head bolts though because i like to get a skinny tool under the old gal's skirts when i gots to. I also changed out the torx screws in the handlebar assemblies to allen heads as well. one less tool to carry.
