I'd like to give a +1 for paying attention to close valve to guide tolerances and valve seats.

In terms if all round improvements, there's a lot to be gained from it. K-liners can make a nice job out of stock guides.

A better question is, "Who does the best headwork for the kind of uses you want?"

Whilst you have it all apart, you may as well set the quench/squish by having the barrels trimmed down too. It's a cheap, quick job to do for someone with the right set up.

WOW you missed it completely didn't you??????
You have to remember when Spanners is posting it may not have anything to do with a Harley.
Remember his Tranny?

I'm just glade he didn't post his tranny with the 50$ head job in action. I think we need a stickie on what to expect from select few in this group lol

Edit

IE spanner loves tranny
Trail dog loves seafoam and cake. Which he hasn't talked about in awhile.

Our Stage I Evo Head is complete with 1.900" intakes, 1.610" exhaust valves, all port work, precision valve seat work using Serdi tooling, cc'd surfaced as needed, with our beehive springs that can handle up to .600 lift.
Just tuned an 80"er with those heads from Chatauguay, N.Y., a Wood 6, with Wiseco 10.0 pistons..........85 hp/93 ft/lbs, sae.
Happy to help.

Thanks
S and G custom cycles in Colubia, TN. Its about 45 min south o f Nashville on I65. They will port, polish and flow the heads to match your set up. Been in business since 1973 and they know their stuff. One of their bikes still holds the 1/4 mile record at Beech Bend dragstrip. Ask for Sam Goodman.

Glad to see you chime in Scott. I hope I didn't give away your secrets posting pics of your porting.... My bike has been running phenomenal. Thanks for the build package.
