My Evo Odyssey.

My Evo Odyssey.
This is not my post in Evo land. But. This is my first Evo. A custom at that. As the parts man said there is no' t' in custom. Trying to replace the HyperCharger that it came with. It does have a S&S E carb on it. Bought a S&S Stealth air cleaner for it. The breather holes did not line up. Because it has rare Alan Johnson Technology High Performance heads on it. Gladly it came from ebay. And. I can get a refund. So. I have a spare early S&S. With the early back plate. No breather ears..Going to run that with a head breather vent to atmosphere setup. More than one way to skin a hawg. Stay tuned. The odyssey is more than likely to continue.

No matter how you change the combustion chamber or shave the heads the breather port and intake port should still have the stock location to each other....
I also never heard of that machine shop... And if they were intended for the strip they never would have had head breathers... All case...

They will line up. However, with decked heads (which those probably are) you are going to need to get everything loose. Loosen your intake bolts at the heads and loosen the carb. Align everything and snug it back down. You may need new intake gaskets and this is assuming you have the correct carb to work with the backing plate.
