That's great! Now you know you have a good set of new components that should last a while. Enjoy

well she is flying, that's me first fuel injection evo and I am impressed there is a bit of go in it. One thing is she back firing a bit when throttle back would that be the vance and hines pipes causing that.

What do your plugs tell you?
Lean or rich?? Timing right?

I've never had a bike with the MM Fuel Injection, but I have a few friends that have. I know that the MM FI runs good in stock form but does not like changes to the system. Most of my friends replaced the original air cleaner and exhust with an aftermarket (and some added big bore pistons and cams). Replacing the air cleaner and/or exhust can cause the bike to run lean and backfire and fart when you let off the throttle. I'm not sure it is a serious issue, more of an annoyance. As THC said, check your plugs and see how they look. If the plugs look like the bike is running lean, or the backfiring bothers you (it would me) you can probably cure it by adding something like a Dynojet Power Commander to override the ECM and dial in the FI. However before I would make any changes at this point I'd just ride the bike for a while and get to know it first.
